Diverters

Air System Diverter Valve and Seal Drum Conveyor

BloApCo Diverter Valves provide a fast positive change in scrap flow. They are remotely controlled and permit users to separate scrap by color, material, grades, or condition, i.e., clean and contaminated. They are true high-pressure diverters and are designed to be “sealed” into the system. Two models are available for both the suction side or pressure side of a pneumatic system.

Separators

Air System Material Separators

Gravity separates scrap or waste from a spinning cyclone of air, and diverts it to a baler chute or other receptacle. At the same time the air itself either escapes to the outdoors or returns via an air filter inside the plant. The separator can be located on the rooftop or inside the plant depending upon your needs.

Seal Drum Conveyors

Air System Diverter Valve and Seal Drum Conveyor

BloApCo seal-drum conveyors offer significant energy and dollar savings over conventional printer, slotter, flexo or die cutter discharge belt or fan-powered conveyors, by using air from outside& usually from a stack through the roof. The 12″ belt covered floating seal-drum, mounted just ahead of the enclosed discharge end of the conveyor, seals off entrance of plant air. When scrap is introduced, the seal-drum simply raises up on its pivot arms and allows material to enter and be swept away by the pneumatic system. The advantages are significant, as the drum achieves a 95% effective seal against induction of plant air.
