We exhibit every year and look forward to the next Promat.” BloApCo presented industry-specific applications for waste management solutions, piggyback and 5-shaft shredders, material handling fans, and full air convey systems that maximize efficiency, safety, and cost-reduction for distribution centers and retailers.

BloApCo presented industry-specific applications for waste management solutions, piggyback and 5-shaft shredders, material handling fans, and full air convey systems that maximize efficiency, safety, and cost-reduction for distribution centers and retailers.

Shredders help retail distribution centers that perform the “break pack and repack” function shred whole old corrugated containers (OCC) prior to baling or compacting. This eliminates hopper jams and keeps trash lines moving throughout the day, even during periods of peak volume. Adding a BloApCo five-shaft shredder above a baler will greatly expand disposal capacities and ensure that production areas are always clear of OCC.

“BloApCo’s unique capabilities and unparalleled waste-reduction principles are key to helping our customers to manage scrap effectively. There is no surprise that BloApCo systems are installed in leading, state-of-the-art distribution centers, handling the most demanding waste-handling applications. It was great to see many of them under one roof at Promat,” said Frank Tejera, BloApCo CEO.

By reducing OCC into small pieces the baler can produce denser, heavier bales, filling haul-away containers to the max, and delivering higher recycling revenue for OCC waste.
